Driving directions:
From I-40 (East): Take exit number 283 for I-540 / Hwy 70. Follow I-540 east to exit number 3 (Lumley Rd). Turn right at stop light. PreFlight is about 1 mile down on Lumley road on the left (do not turn right into the airport entrance).
From I-40 (West): Take exit number 283B for I-540/Hwy 70: Follow I-540 east to exit number 3 (Lumley Rd). Turn right at stop light. PreFlight is about 1 mile down on Lumley Rd. on the left (do not turn into airport entrance).
From I-540 (east or west): Take exit number 3 (Lumley Rd.) Turn right at stop light. PreFlight is about 1 mile down on Lumley Rd. on the left (do not turn into airport entrance).
From Hwy 70 (West): Take exit #293 for Lumley/Westgate Rds. At light, turn left onto Lumley Rd. PreFlight is on the right about 1 block up.
From Hwy 70 (East): Take exit #293 for Lumley/Westgate Rds. At light turn right onto Lumley Rd. PreFlight is on the right about 1 block up.
From RDU Airport: Terminal 1 - Follow the airport signs to Park n Ride 4. Go past Park n Ride 4 and follow the signs for the airport exit. Turn right at the stop light onto Lumley Road. We are 1 block down on the left.
Terminal 2 - Take the I-540 / Hwy 70 exit. Take I-540 east to exit number 3 (Lumley Rd). Turn right at stop light. PreFlight is 1 mile down on Lumley Rd. on the left (do not turn into airport entrance).

What to Expect at PreFlight RDU:
1) The entrance for PreFlight RDU is on Lumley Road between Route 70 and the north entrance to the airport. The only time you will be asked to present a reservation is when the "FULL" sign is displayed. This location usually only fills during Holidays. If you made a reservation and the "FULL" sign is out, don't worry we saved a space for you! Otherwise, pull into the entrance lane and stop at the cashier booth and the cashier will direct you to an available space depending on your choice of parking service (if you want to have your car washed while you are away please advise the driver). We have two types of parking:
Covered Self Park ($9.95) - Drive straight ahead to the entrance of covered parking and insert the white ticket that you just pulled from the ticket dispenser into the ticket scanner. Retrieve the ticket after it is processed and park in the row the cashier directed you too. Please wait at your vehicle as one of our shuttle buses will pick you and your luggage up right at your vehicle within five minutes. Be sure to get a red locator slip from the driver. The red locator slip will have your parking space identified and directions on where to get picked up upon your return.
Uncovered Self Park ($8.50) - The cashier will give you a specific row to park in. Please proceed to that row following the directional signs on the lot. You may park anywhere on that row. Please note, if you park in an area other than the row the cashier directed you to the shuttle may not be able to find you and your service will be delayed. Please wait at your vehicle as one of our shuttle buses will pick you and your luggage up right at your vehicle within five minutes. Be sure to get a red locator slip from the driver. The red locator slip will have your parking space identified and directions on where to get picked up upon your return.
2) Upon your return (we hope you had a great trip) and after you have collected your luggage proceed to the area dedicated for shuttle pick-up for your terminal. Please refer to your red slip for further directions. A PreFlight shuttle will arrive to this area within five minutes. Please give your red slip to the driver. The driver will bring you back to your vehicle.
3) Once you have reached your vehicle follow the signs to the cashier exit located at the entrance plaza. Please have your white ticket, coupon, vouchers, and payment ready. Please note: coupons and vouchers must be presented to the cashier before the transaction is completed to receive the discount. Thanks for parking with PreFlight.
